On November 30th, Charred had its official world premiere screening at the International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles and was immensely well-received. Our thanks go out to the festival coordinators and all attendees.
We received word this morning Charred is an official selection of the 2012 International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts and we will have our official world premiere/West Coast premiere in Los Angeles. The Festival will run 11/30 – 12/01 and we look forward to providing further details as they come. Congratulations to all backers, producers, cast and crew!
We received notification today of Charred as an official winner of an Accolade Film Competition Award.
Out of a sizable number of entrants from around the world, we were one of sixteen films to receive an Award of Merit in the Short Film category.
About the Accolade Film Competition – “The Accolade recognizes film, television, videography and new media professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity, and those who produce standout entertainment or contribute to profound social change.” The Accolade Competition has been featured as one of MovieMaker Magazine’s “25 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee,” and is a popular international competition.
